 Scotch eggs are a popular British snack that consists of a hard-boiled egg that is wrapped in sausage meat, coated in breadcrumbs, and then deep-fried or baked until crispy. They are often served as a snack or as part of a picnic or party spread. This recipe will yield around six scotch eggs. Ingredients: 6 large eggs 1 pound of pork sausage meat (or a combination of pork and beef) 1 teaspoon of dried thyme 1 teaspoon of dried parsley 1 teaspoon of dried oregano 1 teaspoon of dried basil Salt and black pepper, to taste 1 cup of all-purpose flour 2 cups of breadcrumbs (panko or regular) Vegetable oil, for frying Instructions: Start by boiling the eggs.
