 Chocolate Cake Recipe: In this, we will tell you how to make a classic chocolate cake, which is a delicious recipe, which can be a great pleasure to make and serve to people.


Ingredients:


2 cups all-purpose flour


2 cups granulated sugar


3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


2 teaspoons baking powder


1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda


1 teaspoon salt


1 cup milk


1/2 cup vegetable oil


2 large eggs


2 teaspoons vanilla extract


1 cup boiling water


For the frosting:


1/2 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature


2/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder


3 cups powdered sugar


1/3 cup milk


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch (23 cm) round cake pans or line with parchment paper.


In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Mix until well combined.


Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs or vanilla essence to the dry ingredients.  Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes.


While stirring in the boiling water, one thing should be kept in mind that do not mix too much. The batter will be thin, but this is normal.


Pour the batter evenly into the prepared pans.


Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.


Take out those cakes from the oven machine and keep them in the pan for about 10 to 11 minutes to cool down.


You can also take out the cake on a wire rack to cool it completely.

If you want to make frosting, beat butter with an electric mixer until completely creamy.


Add the cocoa powder and powdered sugar to the butter, one cup at a time, alternating with the milk.


Beat in the vanilla extract until well combined.


Once the cakes are completely cool, place one of the cakes on a cake plate or stand.


Then start applying a layer of frosting on top of the cake.


After that place the second cake on top of the frosting and apply another layer of frosting on it.


Use the remaining frosting to cover the sides of the cake, smoothing it out with a spatula or knife.


Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set the frosting.

Tips:


To make the cake even more chocolatey, you can add 1/2 cup of chocolate chips to the batter before baking.


For a richer flavor, you can substitute the milk in the frosting with heavy cream.


You can also add toppings to the cake, such as chocolate shavings or fresh berries, to make it even more delicious.
